Stockholm Marathon 2009

This is my 20 week marathon program in preparation for the 2009 season. I’ve filed maps of my daily routes under the tabs “week x of 20″, ordered newest to oldest, top to bottom. You can click on the balloons along the routes to view embedded running data.

The KML data used to generate the map overlays was exported from my Nokia Sports Tracker application on my mobile.

I entered this program relatively fit, having logged 60-70 km/wk for the past three months and 40-60 km/wk before that as a habit. Overall, I’m implementing a regimen formula I used in the past with success, with tweaks for my age and hill-y training environment.

My target finish time is 3:10:00 (±:10) for the May 30th Stockholm Marathon, with a personal goal of a sub 3:00:00 within the next year.
