Week 16 of 20

Sunday 03 May, 2009  21,5km 02:03:27, 8°, cloudy and cool. Almost missed today’s workout. Left knee hurting and tight. Falling asleep at the end of the session. http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=948041

Saturday 02 May, 2009  12,5km 01:19:13, 10°, clear and calm. Workout was split due to a glitch in my tracking program. http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=941940 http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=941937

Friday 01 May, 2009  20km 02:00:00, 8°, clear and calm. Second speed session this week. Today’s menu: 1600m x5. HR monitor disconnected after the 3rd interval? My goal was to stay below 6:30. 1600m times were 6:19, 6:23, 6:29, 6:35, 6:27. Slow runs between fast ones for equal time of the previous lap. My HR graph shows attempts to pick up the pace with every lap; Exactly what I was doing. Next outing I’ll try to begin faster on the first lap. Workout is split in two sessions. http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=937719 http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=937718

Thursday 30 April, 2009  8km 00:43:41, 11°, clear. Just a short 8km relaxer between two days of speed workouts. Spring is really beginning to bloom and the weather is most agreeable for photography. The N79AE’s 5MP camera is capturing some great images! http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=932360

Wednesday 29 April, 2009  20km, 02:00:00, 10°, clear and cool. Yasso 800s x10. Good performance, not great. Average lap time through ten is 3:06; An improvement of only a second over last time. New N79 AE performed well again, providing a nice graphic of my efforts. Workout split into two sessions. http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=929129 http://sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/workoutdetail/index.do?id=929126
